It has been a week of big decisions. Not too many important actions, but lots of thinking. I'm facing some imminent changes - necessary and inevitable - that share equal parts anxiety and excitement. My father says that success is measured by the amount of anxiety you are willing to endure, which is a decidedly more elegant way of saying "no pain no gain." Change is never easy, especially when it means taking risks, but as they say; those who don't take risks will never drink champagne! And if the changes cause discomfort, or stress, or high anxiety, when the risk finally pays off, the reward will be that much sweeter. At least, that is what I'm hoping. This weekend is filled with belated birthday celebrations. I can hardly believe we are well into November - if time slowed down a bit (especially in these next two weeks), I'd have absolutely no complaints. Happy weekend!
