You heard right...not a poetry slam, not a monologue slam; a story-telling slam. Tuesday nights at the Moth Theater in Hollywood people gather to tell true stories. Stories are rated on a 1-10 scale and winners get the chance to tell their tales to a larger audience; on Moth radio and the Moth Theater in New York City. Whoever thought of this idea must be a kindred spirit of mine...great story-telling definitely takes skill, so I'll be a tough critic.
