Netflix, which has (not quite single handedly) put brick-and-mordar movie rental stores out of business, is now releasing original programming! Spacey and Fincher pitched the show to other networks, including HBO and ABC, but Netflix out-bid both powerhouses. What will this mean for the future of network television?
